SHINJUKU IMPERIAL GARDEN IN TOKYO.

 Shinjuku imperial garden is located central area in Tokyo. We enjoyed autumn season there .

My blogger friend and her family came to Japan from Malaysia.. We invited them for supper in our house.


We went to a metropolitan garden very near from our house.


We enjoyed the night scene in this garden.

I took a photo. Lina and her family and my wife.

Lina attend Lake Kawaguchiko full marathon in the coming Sunday.

I hope she will get a prize at the marathon.

  5. Wow! It's really autumn, there? It looks like spring with all those gorgeous blooms, daffodils, cherry blossoms in fall, so stunning?!!!! And I love the red maples trees leves and the golden leaves on platan's street... So much beauty you've found in the garden and the night shots, as well! A wonderful time for family and good luck to your friend at marathon!

  9. 新宿御苑は都会のオアシスですね。薔薇がまださいているということはまだ東京でも霜が降りてないんでしょうか。手向け山という紅葉初めてです。ブログフレンドとの交友も活発なようですね。お宅に招待してあげるなど、奥様のご協力は相当なもの。素敵な方ですね。どこかのブログで、栗の皮をむかない・・とこぼしておられましたが、そんなの些細なことです。^0^/

      こんばんは。霜の降りるのは、真冬に数回あるだけです。Yoko様の御主人はお料理をお手伝いするそうですね。あれは事実を書いただけです。
       彼らは来日9回目、だいの和食好きです。 それでも妻は大変だったようです。

  13. Thank you for this beautiful walk through a Japanese Garden in Tokyo! These wonderful colors... Here it is grey now and the nearest Japanese Garden (in the Gardens of the world in Berlin) is closed now until springtime... Looking at your pics I remember the Japanese Garden in Buenos Aires I visited 10 years ago. I had a good time there...

  26. なんだか、いつも’へえー’ の声をあげてしまいます。これもそうです。花々の写真が可憐で、うまく撮れてます。東京lのど真ん中にあっていいスポットですねえ。十月桜が、孤独さがあるけれど、美しい。まだ紅葉もあって得した気分になりませんか? 斎藤さん宅の近くにあるという六義園、いつか散歩したいです、、、夜の景色も素晴らしい。

  27. 緑の多い日本庭園をもつ公園に気軽に行けていいですね。タムケヤマは、見事ですね。葉がハゴロモに似てます。庭のハゴロモは、今日の寒さと強風で、ほとんど散ってしまいました。インドネシアからのお友達、きっとお喜びでしょう。マラソン、がんばられた事でしょう。

      こんにちは。タムケヤマは見頃を迎えていると、案内に出てました。多くの人が集まっていて、人の途切れた時に撮影しました。
       ハゴロモを検索して見ました。 タムケヤマに良く似ていますね。
       マレーシアから、来られた彼女はいつか、東京マラソンに出たいと言ってました。

    実家東京なんです。結婚するまで赤坂と祖師谷大蔵で過ごしました。新宿と聞くとピンピンと反応します。

    同居してる義理母に手がかかるようになってますので、しばらくブログお休みしています。また時間のある時訪問させて頂きますね!

  31. こんばんは。新宿御苑は春に娘宅を訪ねた帰り寄りました。その広さ、桜の見事さ、木々の美しさ、庭園の落ち着き・・・どれもが素晴らしいなと思いました。秋も魅力が一杯ですね。また訪れてみたいです。自宅に外国の方をお招きするのは、奥様の力が大きいですね。私ももっと料理が上手ならいいのですが。素敵なご夫婦ですね。
