SNAPSHOTS AT ASAKUSA

Asakusa is a traditional and amusement town in Tokyo. There　is the oldest temple in Tokyo. Many tourists would come this area. I took snapshots at Asakusa.



I happened to see a traditional wedding ceremony debut by rickshaw.

A tapestry like cloth. This scene is not at Asakusa, it is the one in Kyoto.
 
お土産屋では京都の金閣寺をモデルにしたものを売ってました。

境内から見える東京　スカイ　ツリーです。
 
 
Two raccoon dogs in Chingodoh.
 
鎮護堂にいる狸の焼き物です。
 
We can see a part of Denbouin garden. This garden is not open to the public.
 
鎮護堂から見える伝法院の庭園です。一般には公開されていません。
 
This stone bridge was used when there was aTousyougu in this precinct.
 
この境内に東照宮が有った時に使われた石橋です。多くの人が歩いて、橋がすり減っています。
 
Houzoumon Gate
 
宝蔵門です。ここには鶴ヶ岡八幡宮から移された経典が収蔵されています。
 
Cleaning this gate. It looks very hard work.
 
門の掃除です。とても大変そうです。
 
A bell tower at Bentenyama. Basho composed a famous Haiku hearing the sounds of this bell.
 
Cherry blossoms like clouds!
Are those bells from Ueno
Or Asakusa?

    I have been to that towel shop! I like that street of Asakusa for shopping. A little touristy but nicer items than in some other places.

    Your photos are reminding me of my visit to the temple there. Nice!

      Dear Rurousha Sensei. Yes, this shop is Fujiya. I bought towels a few times in this shop. I would take lunch　in various restraunts at Asakusa,such as サイコロステーキ　in ちんや亭、海鮮丼（Kaisendon) in 飛松(Tobimatu), 手打ちラーメン　in 馬賊（Bazoku),ビーフシチュー　in フジキッチン。

    ふじ屋さんの店頭の「東京タワー」「クジラ」「ウサギ」は買ってみたくなりますね。宝蔵門の大提灯に何故「小舟町」と書いてあるのか不思議に思ってましたが、ググってみたら、日本橋小舟町が平成１５年に奉納したんですね。平成１５年１０月だったらしいので、最近ですが、ちょっと興味を持ちました。

      世空旅心様　おはようございます。雷門の提灯は昔は「志ん橋」でしたが、今は旧松下電器産業の奉納したものです。
      　「志ん橋」は本堂の前に残っています。
      　私はgoogle＋を使っていないので、世空旅心様の風呂部は読めませんでした。

      Ｍｉｎｏｒｕさんの、読者の皆さんがメンバーに登録されてたので、私も今朝「ＧＯＯＧＬＥ」に登録してみました。「世界遺産」での登録ははねられるので、「世界遺産が好きな旅人」にしたら、姓名が逆転して、「が好きな旅人」「世界遺産」になってしまい、うまくいかないので、私の没後の法名（浄土真宗）である、世界の空、旅の心、からとった「世空旅心」で登録しました。なのでまだ名前の登録だけですが、以後よろしくお願いします。

      私の家も浄土真宗なのですが、生きているうちに名前を付けるのは一般的なことなのですか？戒名を持っている方に初めてお会いしました！　もっともお葬式の時とか、法事のときぐらいしか思い出さないので、あまりよく知らなくてすみません。

      snowwhite　様　こんばんは。彼が戒名をハンドルネームにした事は初めて知りました。
      　彼は世界遺産への旅が趣味でして１００件位は行ったそうです。あるSNSで日記を書いています。

      　私の両親は生前に墓石を作り、戒名も菩提寺で付けてもらいました。死後に子孫に経済的負担をかけたく無いとの思いからです。

      　そうした例はかなり有ると思います。

    浅草はとても魅力的なところですね。東京に主人の転勤で7年住みました。主人と最初に行ったところが柴又（寅さんの影響）。母と最初に行ったのが浅草です。もんじゃ焼きを食べたのが昨日のことのようです。
    奈良にも有名な手ぬぐいやさんがあるのですが、模様を見ているとお国ぶりがうかがえて、とても楽しいですね。東京でも昔は捕鯨をしていたのでしょうね？？？or 今、Whale Watching をしているのかな？？

      snowwhite 様　こんばんは。スカイツリーが浅草から近いので最近観光客がかなり増えた様です。

      　私は８年位前から台東区の観光センターでヴォランティア通訳を月に数回していました。　最近はほとんどご無沙汰しています。

      　そんな訳で浅草が第二の故郷の様です。葛飾北斎の墓所も浅草から徒歩１０分位の寺に有ります。

      　この手ぬぐいのお店は全部オリジナルの手ぬぐいで、とても人気の店です。　
      　デザインはこのお店の趣味だと思います。
