TOKYO BAY CRUING BY PASSENGER SHIP.

We went to Hinode Pier by automatic driving monorail to get on a passenger ship.


Monorail, named Yurikamome.
 
日の出桟橋まではモノレイル「ゆりかもめ」で行きます。
 
We got on a large passenger ship at Hinode Pier.
 
 
This ship's name is Symphony.
 
大型客船「シンフォニー」に乗りました。
 
 
There is a restraunt in this ship. I reserved a table for two. We watched Tokyo Bay landscapes from this restraunt..
 
船内のレストランに予約を入れておきました。

A NATIONAL GARDEN IN TOKYO

There is a national garden in Tokyo,named Shinjukugyoen.
                                                                                                                                                               We could see cherryblossoms and peach blossoms  in full bloom at the same time in this garden.

VISITING ISLANDS AMONG CORAL REEFS 2/2

 We visited Kumejima island at first from Tokyo by way of Okinawa island.

VISITING ISLANDS AMONG CORAL REEFS 1/2

 We visited Southwestern islands in Okinawan archipelago. There are many islands among coral reefs there.

 南西諸島の4日間の旅に行きました。

 We enjoyed this 4 day tour. We got on a chartered plane 4 times. I took these photos from the one of the plane.

下の写真は宮古島から石垣島への遊覧飛行の時に写しました。

Almost all islands are surrounded by coral reefs here.
 
珊瑚礁がとても綺麗でした。
 
 
 
 
This sightseeing flight started from Miyakojima island.
 
 
 
 
The sand of all beach was white. Because almost all beach was made of broken coral.

We got on this kind of a plane. The name is DHC8-Q100 by Bambardier inc.
The seating capacity is for 39 passengers.

A LOCAL CITY VISITING TOUR

We went to local cities looking for the good and old days.


Omihachiman city in Shiga prefecture. There were many merchants in this city.
 
近江八幡市です。伊藤忠の創業者の家もここに有ります。
 
 
 
An old street of stores and houses.
 
古い街並み。「うだつ」も松の後ろに建ってます。
 
 
 
Himure-Hachimangu Shrine.
 
日牟礼八幡神社。豊臣秀次の五七の桐の紋も有りました。
 
 
 
Votive picture tablets. They would form a Japanese abacus.
 
絵馬が算盤の様に並んでます。
 
 
 
We could see the Sun was just setting in the distance of  Lake Biwako.
 
琵琶湖の夕日、長浜市の近くです。
 
Next day, we went to Tugaru city in Fukui prefecture.
 
 
A symbol of Turuga port.Many sailing ships anchored in this harbour a long time ago.
 
「北前船」を記念しているのでしょうか。
 
 
 
Former Turuga Port railroad station building. Many Japanese people went to Europe by way of the Trans-Siberian Railroad before The World War first. Using sailing ship from Turuga to Vladivostok.
 
旧敦賀港駅舎。ここからウラジオストックに行きシベリア横断鉄道に乗ってヨーロッパに行く人が多かったそうです。
 
 
 
Kihino-Matubara seashore.
 
気比の松原の海岸です。
 
 
 
Kihi-Jingu Shrine. There are many stone all-night lights in front of Kihi-Jinhu Shrine.
 
気比神宮です。常夜灯が沢山有りました。

We looked this sea from the hill. There was an ancient battlefield in this hill.
 
金が崎の古戦場の近くから見た景色です。
 
 
The last day, we stayed a hotel in Obama city The same name of Obama president in USA.
 
Many mackerel fish were landed in Obama fishing port. The salted fish were carried to Kyoto.
There were three routes from Obama to Kyoto.                                                                                 Each route was called " The route of Mackerel."
 
There are many fish stores in Obama shopping strees.
 
鯖のお店。ここが「鯖街道」の起点だそうです。
 
The gate of Shirahige Shrine. This shrine is located between Obama and Kyoto.
 
白鬚神社です。鯖街道の途中に有りました。
