WILD FLOWERS IN A SUBTROPICAL ISLAND , No.2.

This island is at the height of the rainy season. We had sunny weather sometimes.

In the rainy season.
 
 
There were many wild flowers in this island.

月桃（ゲットウ）ショウガ科です。
 
 
Kumatakeran.
 
熊竹蘭（クマタケラン）ショウガ科です。

    こんにちは。ショウガ科の白い小さな花が可愛いです。名前では「クワズイモ」にびっくり。最後の琉球半夏は名前も形も色も素敵ですね。ＭｅｒｒｙＷｉｔｃｈさんのコメントと同じになってしまいますが、１枚目の海の写真は迫力があります。フォトコンに応募する趣味はないと思いますが、この写真はどこに出しても評価が高いと思います。

      　こんばんは。月桃は「島のブルース」の流行歌に出てくる「さねん花」のことです。ランと間違えそうです。http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HAwksWPQLo　雲が海岸付近まで懸っているので撮ってみました。お褒めにあずかり光栄です。クワズイモの大きな葉っぱは傘になる位、大きいです。でも食べられないのでこんな名前になった様です。
      　琉球半夏の仏炎苞は水芭蕉のそれと同じ様なものです。

    最初の写真、ほんとに神秘的で美しいです。パート1のサクラランも珍しい花でしたが（一見沈丁花にも見えます）パート２も満載ですね。やはりのほほんと歩いていては見つからないのでしょうね。ガガイモ科という種、名前はなんだか頭に残りそうです。
