今回も、白金台の自然教育園に行きました。
It was a very fine day.
快晴でした。
I could find a swallowtail butterfly on Inunumatoranoo flowers.
あげは蝶がイヌヌマトラノオにとまっていました。
Inunumatoranoo belongs to the primrose family.
この花はサクラソウ科です。
This bigger one is called Okatoranoo. Toranoo means tiger tail.
オカトラノオです。
A scarlet skimmer.
ショウジョウトンボです。
A grey duck in a pond displaying purple speculum.
カルガモが翼鏡を見せていました。
There are many wildflowers in this garden.
Hangeshō.
半夏生(ハンゲショウ)です。
Hangeshō would make up their leaves white. hangeshō means 11th day after
the summer solstice.
半夏生とは夏至から11日目を指します。
Pearl twist or Ladies'tresses.
ネジバナです。
Astilbe.
チダケサシです。
Kusafuji. The pea family.
クサフジです。
Shiode.
シオデです。
Karatachibana.
カラタチバナ、百両です。
Hagurosō.
ハグロソウです。
The caliculus of Hosta(Plantain lily).
オオバギボウシの蕾です。
The progenitor of hydrangea.
ガクアジサイです。アジサイの原種と言われてます。
Nokanzō. The lily family.
ノカンゾウです。

It looked like a very fine day indeed, and a very lovely day and way to spend it! Thanks for inviting us along with you. :-) That butterfly is EXQUISITE!! Look at those colors! I love the scarlet skimmer too, and all those beautiful flowers. Some of them look so delicate! And I can definitely see the resemblance to a tiger's tail in the Okatoranoo! It even looks like it's twitching! :-)

こんにちは、ショウジョウトンボの綺麗な赤と、カルガモの翼鏡の青が鮮やかです。カルガモに翼鏡があることは初めて知りました。花では オカトラノオと、オオバギボウシの蕾がユニークですね。白金教育園もしっかりと見て廻れば数多くの発見があることが本日のブログで分かりました。私も、もっと通わないといけませんね。

Deleteこんばんは。最近、この園の話題の植物のコピーが置いてあるのですが、それがカラーになり、とても便利になりました。
何度も通うと、土地勘が出来て来て、今まで見過ごしていた植物に気が付く事も多くなりました。
翼鏡は普段隠れていますが、何故か知りませんが時々、見せて呉れます。オオバギボウシは花の形からは、想像出来ない様な蕾をつけます。見つけた時は嬉しかったです。

Deleteこんばんは。万両は重いので葉の下に実が付く、千両は少し軽いので葉の上に実が付く、百両は葉の形が長細いと覚えました。それぞれ赤い実が付きます。
この庭園は奥が深いと言うか、ゆっくり見ると様々なものが見えて来ます。
