MT.YOSHI IN NARA.

Mt.Yoshino is one of the most beautiful cherry blossom area in our country. We visited this mountain.

                       吉野に桜を見に行きました。

Many cherry trees started to bloom.

多くの桜が咲き始めていました。


The full blossoms will be seen in one week.

満開はあと一週間後でした。


A few mistletoe in this tree.

宿り木が桜の木に数個有りました。


This kind of cherry tree is representative in this mountain.

吉野を代表する、シロヤマザクラです。

中央部がピンクになった花はもう蜜が無いサインです。

Kinpusenji temple.

金峯山寺です。

Many people donated cherry trees to the temple by planting them in this mountain.

この寺に捧げるご神木として桜の木を多くの人が植えました。

  1. 「吉野の桜」を見て思わず飛び込んできました。私もウィークエンドに行く予定です。最近は毎年行っていますので、どのお写真にも愛着を感じます。竹林院に泊まられたのですね。さすが良いところにお泊りです^ ^私も一度は泊まって、夜の桜、早朝の桜を見てみたいと思っているのですが。中千本の辺りは前に進むのも大変なくらいのにぎわいですね。上千本から降りてくる時が特に私は好きです。もうそろそろ上千本も見頃かなと思っています。

      こんばんは。吉野には今回で、2回目です。前回は全山、桜に覆われていましたが、今回は少し早かった様です。前はj金峯山神社まで、タクシーで行きました。 何度行っても素晴らしい所です。
       吉野のブログを期待してます。

    桜を愛でるのにふさわしい場所は吉野なのでは? なだらかな山々を舞台に静かに咲く日本の桜を一度見に行ってみたいと思っています。 夜桜は妖艶で素晴らしい! 私達の旅は昼間張り切り過ぎて、夜の観光までエネルギーが持たない状況です。 ショウジョウバカマもとっても可愛いですね。 春は儚げで素朴な花が野辺に咲き、ふと目にしただけで、ささくれ立った心を癒してくれます。

  11. I visited Nara 2 years ago by train from Osaka. I liked the countrysides and mountains around Nara which looked so green and tranquil. Nara is a nice and peaceful town to retire.

    Your photos are lovely again. I am amazed to see the many trees being planted around the temple by well wishers who have good hearts. Did you plant any tree there?
    I saw the night Sakura trees too at Fukuoka's Ohorikoen which was beautiful. I believe the one at Nara is more interesting as it was on the mountain slopes!

    きれいですねえ。山一面が桜色に染まるのは日本でも吉野だけなんでしょうね。
    1枚目の写真の場所が、そういう意味では一番の定番スポットですか。見事です。
    ライトアップした枝垂桜もきれいですね。枝垂れの2枚目の写真が芸術的で素敵です。

      I know the song of Nirinso too. In Kamikochi, from Myoujinike to Tokusawa, both roadsides will be covered with Nirinso flowers in May.

    吉野、どうやら私と同じぐらいか、少し先にいらしたみたいですね。私の場合、下千本は満開、中千本は満開間近でした。奥千本は蕾の状態。金峯山寺、よく撮れていますね! 野の花も。ずっと歩き回ったので、のどが渇いてアイスばかり食べていましたよ(笑)。金峯山寺の秘仏、青くてすごい迫力でしたね。なかなか拝見できるものではないので、行って良かったと思います。桜を捧げる習慣はとてもステキです。吉野の保護にもなるし。
    みのるさんもほぼ同時期にいらして、また他のブロガーの方も私と同じ時期に同じ房総にいらしてました。みんな考えることは似ているのかもしれません。 吉野をここでも味わえて嬉しいです。

      こんばんは。そうですね。私の方が少し早かったかも知れません。蔵王権現はテレビでも見ていましたが、実物はとても迫力が有りました。色々な言い伝えが有りますが、役の行者の夢に出てきた様な姿かしらと思いながら見ました。
