Hutakotamagawa is located in the suburbs of Tokyo.

Tamagawa River flows near the station.

Shopping malls are located near the station too.

There is a roof garden at the biggest shopping building.

Many buildings are located at the background of the garden,

A pond in the garden.

Medaka fish are in the pond.

Going through the stairway, there is a Japanese garden.

Going through the stair way is very fun.

An old farmer house is open to the public.

Many fragrant olive blossoms are full in bloom.

The fragrance of the fragrant olive blossoms let you feel autumn.

A butterfly named Himejanome.

This butterfly is just on the ginger flower.

  1. You just shared very interesting photos of Tokyo with all the buildings silhouette behind the gardens. These parks are so neat and green with lots of flowers & butterflies for everyone to relax away from their office stress.
The stairways are very creative to explore too.
Happy Holidays to you and say Hello to everyone in USA. Are you visiting both the Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks?

    Bon voyage Saito-San.

  6. 二子玉川の辺りには、まだ自然が残ってるのですね。駅前のデパートは高島屋でしたっけ。けっこうすいてるので行きやすく、買い物に出かけました。

  13. Are those butterflies contained in a butterfly house? It looks like they are from here. By the way you said you have hoyas in Japan's Southern islands! I don't think so because Japan is not listed to have hoyas in the wild. They are mostly tropical plants.
