Looking for wild azalea blossoms. ミヤマキリシマをたずねて。

Arriving at Kagoshima airport. We got on a reserved rental car and
went to Ebino heighlands in Miyazaki.

Wild azalea blossoms.

They have grown in colonies.

We were lucky that they were almost in full bloom.

Each leaf has blistles.

Then we went to Kirishima Jingu Shrines.

The gate of the shrine.

Main buildings.

There are many hot spring sources at this city.

WE stayed at a hotel near the one of the hot spring sources.

One of the rooms where we stayed at this hotel.

There are two bath tubs, water flowing directly
from the hot spring source.

Next day, we went to Lake Ikedako.

WE could see Mt.Kaimondake
from Lake Ikedako.

Mt.Kaimondake.

Mt Kaimondake from Nagasakibana.

  1. So beautiful place to see sourroundings and to admire gorgeous blossoms of azalea. And the place of relax with the hot spring water is amazing and good for health, as well. The panoramas of mountains are, also, stunning, especially the shore of the lake and Mt. Kaimondake from Nagasakibana. Wonderful pictures! Many thanks for sharing them.
A very nice and sunny new week in June!

  4. The whole place is very interesting with pretty flowers and panoramic view of the mountain. I always loved the hot springs in Japan and wish that I could live there all my life.

I admire your privilege to always stay at nice hotels with own private onsen tub inside your huge rooms. That is a bliss and luxury! Good for you.
