AUTUMN LEAVES IN NORTH EAST JAPAN.

We went to North East Japan for 3 day trip. I borrowed a rent-a-car near Shinjo ralroad station and returned it near Sendai railroad station.. Then we went to Naruko Kyo gorge.

Oh-Hukazawa Bridge.

We went to at the bottom of this gorge.

We could see a tunnel for local railroad line.

The surface of the river reflected the Sunshine.

We stayed a hotel at the Ginzan Onsen hot spring area.

There are many classical hotels.

Next day, we went to Yamadera temple.

Crossing a ridge, on the way to Yamadera,we could see a sea of clouds.

Yamadera area.

Godaido building, almost on the top of the temple.

The main building of the temple.

The entrance to the top of this mountain.

From here, stairs more than 1,000 steps spread out to the mountaintop.

Near here,The poet Basho composed a famous Haiku.

Deep silence, the shrill of cicadas, seeps into rocks

Closing up.

Thanks for visiting this post.

  2. The photographs are beautiful like Autumn Paintings with a myriad of colours from the painter's palette. I love the classical buildings very much as they always excite me.
The whole area is so serene and peaceful. Good for meditation!
