  5. What a great place to wander, Minoru. That pink flower looks like a little woodland orchid I see here in the spring. Your butterfly shots are wonderful. I always have trouble getting a good shot of them as they fan their wings too much!

Thank you very much for your comment. This flower is named Touch-me-not. Perhaps,it's different from the orchid.

  9. Imagine this "wilderness" in the heart of bustling metropolitan Tokyo? How incredible is that. Kudos to the city planner.

  27. Konnichi-wa Minoru-san!

As you already know I already was two times in Tokyo - but unfortunately I never visited this institute of nature study. I've been two times to Yoyogi park close to Shibuya-ku - but this park is surely different from the one in your post.

Enjoy a (hopefully) great month of November!
All the best from Germany, Uwe.

  28. This is amazing to know there is a huge garden in the central of Tokyo that has abundance of flora and fauna besides a swamp and pond. This sounds like those Botanical Gardens in London.
The butterflies are so colourful and calm to allow you snap their photos. It is now November and the Autumn leaves are not showing yellow and red yet. I thought Autumn will be over soon and I will be there next week! I am so excited.
