ONE DAY TRIP TO JOGASHIMA ISLAND.

 We visited Jogashima island. It takes two  and half hours by train and bus from Tokyo.

城ケ島へは、東京から電車とバスを乗り継いで　２時間半で行けます。


城ケ島八景のうちの一つです。


We went to Umanose, or a horse's back.


「馬の背」と名付けられた、洞門です。

There was a black kite on the beach. 
It's very rare it is on the beach.

トビが海岸におりてきました。とても珍しいです。

This bird's nick name is a lunch stealing one.



Just taking off.


There are some flowers on the way to this beach.


A kind of Indian coral tree.　アメリカデイゴです。



Honey suckle.　スイカズラです。


Birdsfoot trefoil.　ミヤコグサです。


We also visited a forest named Koajironomori.


Koajironomori.　小網代の森です。

There are some plants in this forest.


Japanese spindle tree.　マサキです。


Creeper.　フウトウカズラです。

There many many crabs in this forest.


A crab.　アカテガニの子供です。

この日の夜はは満月、蟹の産卵が予想されています。

Going through the forest, we arrived at a seashore.


Pacific ocean.　油壷マリーナ（シーボニア）から見た江の島です。


We enjoyed this one day trip very much.

    こんばんわ。
    城ケ島まで一時間半で行けるのですね。太平洋に面した勇ましい岩場ですね。海の色も青々して清々しいです。観光客のお弁当をねらうのでランチを盗む鳥っていうニックネームなのでしょうか。おっとりした鳥君に見えますが.....。

      こんばんは。急いでいましたので、２　のキイボードが反応しなくて、ご迷惑をおかけしました。京浜急行の終着駅、三崎口、には何度も小さなヨットを乗りに行きましたが、城ケ島は、何十年ぶりです。
      　トビ、あるいはトンビは後ろから飛んできて、昼食で食べているものをかすめ取るのが得意です。
      　あの歌、詩が好きなので、書いてみました。

    I am always impressed by your ability to provide the names of the flowers and plants in English. It is interesting and educational for me. Your job must be related to agriculture or became a botanist as a hobby.
    The rocks by the sea is beautiful as we do not have such colours and terrains in my country. I saw a similar horse's back hole in Bali. The red crabs are amazing too as I only saw black ones in Malaysia.

    城ケ島。　私達家族のちょっとした ドライブエリアが紹介され嬉しくなりました。
    新婚時代から子供が幼い頃まではよく家族で出かけたものです。
    大きな鳥が舞う高台に登り潮の香りを吸うと不思議に元気になれたものですが、
    今はどうかな？（笑）　あの場所にこんな不思議な花々や可愛い蟹が遊んでいたとは！

    江の島へは今でも毎年 元旦に初詣で訪れています。
    富士山も見える大好きな場所です。　

    ブログ更新できていませんが、のんびりやっています。　ヽ(=´▽`=)ﾉ

      こんばんは。コメントありがとうございます。大学時代は、ヨットの同好会で材木座海岸に、独身時代は、森戸海岸にヨットを置いて、結婚してからは、三崎口の海岸にヨットをおいて、乗りに来ていました。
      　早朝、江の島の向こうに見える富士山はとても美しかったです。昔は北鎌倉駅に降りる人はほとんどいませんでした。
      　私も湘南、大好き人間です。
