DAIBA BEACHFRONT PARK IN TOKYO.

Daiba beachfront park is one of the popular area in Tokyo. We went there after a long time.

Daiba means battery park or fort. A few forts were made to protect Edo(former Tokyo) from other countries.

Thank you very much for your comment. I will explain how to go to Daiba monorail station from Tokyo railroad station. You need to get on Yamanote line bound for Shinagawa. Two stop from Tokyo, You need get off at Shinbashi station. Then get on a monorail named Yurikamome, and six stop is Daiba. It takes one or two minutes to go to Gundum by walking from Daiba station. OK?

  9. This was so interesting! We love boats and harbors ... what an amazing contrast between the old-style tour boat and that ultra-modern one. Loved the robot statue and just the "big-city" aspect ... thank you for showing us.

  17. Good photos Minoru. I love the sea!!
In the 80s in Spain there was a cartoon series Mazinger Z. They are a Japanese artist Go Nagai. They saw my children. I dedicated a post, it was very famous. Statue Gandum reminded me :)
