我が家から徒歩で数分の六義園に行きました。
枝垂れ桜が満開になりました。

There is a very small island in a pond in this garden
蓬莱島です。
This island was destroyed by the great north east Japan earthquake.
But this was recently repaired after 3 years.
Tortoises are sitting in the very near the island.
東日本大震災の時に壊れましたが、ようやく元の姿に戻りました。

The lake is nice to be surrounded by pretty neat landscapes and cherry blossom flowers! Japan has so many beautiful parks with nice landscapes for perfect relaxation. No wonder the Japanese have long lives!

Stunning. My favourite time of year is when our sakuru blossoms come out. It is the time now but the rain is also too heavy to go out and photograph. I hope the blossoms are still with us when the sun comes out. Enjoy your beautiful blossoms.

こんばんは。東京がいつも奈良より開花が早いのを不思議に思っていますが、桜前線は単に列島の南から北に北上以外の条件が色々とあるのですね。お写真の満開のしだれ桜、華やかさもありながら落ち着いた日本画の雰囲気もありますね。来週末、東京に花見に行く予定をしています。行きたい所はたくさんです。たくさんの人出も覚悟しておかないといけませんね。

Deleteこんばんは。湖面のｔありがとうございます。この桜はエドヒガンです。ソメイヨシノより早咲きです。桜前線は全てクローンのソメイヨシノを基準にして表わします。 ソメイヨシノは伊藤伊兵衛が１７７０年ころ、交雑に成功したと言われてます。旧染井村は我が家から、すぐ近くにあります。 今は染井霊園としてその名を留めています。
