VISITING CASTLES IN HYOGO.

                                           We visited castles and sightseeing places in Hyogo.

                                                     兵庫県に行きました。


Takeda castle site.

竹田城です。


The Takeda castle is said to be the castle of the heavens.

横矢掛りです。


Then we visited Enkyoji Temple.


The precincts of this temple was used as a location area for the movie named, The Last Samurai.

圓教寺です。

The road to the main temple.

講堂へ行く小道です。

Then we went to Kinosaki hot spring area and went to Mt.Daishi by cable car.

城崎温泉です。

ロープウエイで大師山へ。

円山川と遠くに日本海です。

菊です。

Grey heron.

アオサギです。


On the way to Tanba Sasayama,we could see Saruo Falls.

  20. こんにちは、城巡り再開ですか。
    びっくりしたのは圓教寺、木造の立派な本堂ですね。
    ・・・と思って英語の文章も見てたら「ラスト侍」の映画にも使われたのですか。
    これは実物も是非、見てみたいと思いました。
    講堂へ行く小道と、丹波笹山城はもう綺麗に紅葉してますね。
    丹波笹山と言うと、栗、黒豆、松茸ですが、栗も松茸もシーズンがあるので、
    私はいつもお土産は黒豆でした。

       丹波篠山の近辺で焼き栗を何回も買って食べました。美味しかったです。この城は実際に見ると大したことは無いのですが、紅葉が綺麗でした。

  21. 竹田城には春に行きました。あの有名な雲海が見られるのは今の時期だそうですね。余程運が良くないとみられないとか。でも雲海がなくても絶景ですよね。アオサギの写真、日本画のようでもあり、油絵のようにも見えます。

      こんばんは。雲海は日の出前に行かないと駄目だそうですね。 でも、それなりに楽しめました。アオサギはよく見ますが、横顔が撮れて良かったです。

  24. 竹田城、今人気ですね。一度訪れたいと思いながら行けないでいます。2枚目の写真、荒城と、薄い夕焼けのきれいな山並みが、雰囲気ありますね。
    ラストサムライと丹波の山寺、映画的には、よくマッチするんですね。

  26. Gorgeous waterfall.......beautiful sound too no doubt! The moat looks quite large,much wider and further away from the castle walls than moats around ancient British castles.

  31. すごい!すてきなところですね。ここもいいかも?今、日本で訪ねたい場所のリスト作ってます。ちょっと気が早いのですけど。車で廻られたのですか・電車でもいけますか?時間があるときでいいので、教えてくただけませんか?息子の好きな映画の一つはラストサムライです。このお寺の事話しておきます。
