AUTUMN LEAVES AT MT.ASAHIDAKE.

         We went to see autumn leaves at Mt.Asahidake in Taisetuzan national park.

                 大雪山国立公園に紅葉を見に行きました。


Autumn leavea at the foot of Mt.Asahidake.
 
旭岳の麓のダケカンバの黄葉です。

We we went to Sugatamino-Ike station by cable car. Getting off the cable car,it was a snowny world.

         ロープウエイの姿見の駅を降りたら、そこは銀世界でした。


The temparature was -2°C.
 
気温は零下2度でした。

Snow wold fall  sometimes.
 
時々雪が降りました。
 
 
A silver forest.
 
霧氷です。
 

This mountan would emit a great deal of white smoke.
 
この山は活火山です。白い蒸気の噴煙をあげていました。

The frozen Chinguruma plants would grow in colonies.

      こんばんは。そうなんです。数日前は10度前後と言われていましたが、当日は寒くてびっくりしました。妻はウオーキングをギブアップしました。 気温が低かったので、雪の上を滑らずに歩けました。

  12. おはようございます、零下2度は私が旅をしてきたヘルシンキと一緒です。北欧もそうでしたが、大雪山あたりだと黄葉があって、紅葉はないのでしょうか。
    それにしても雪が降って霧氷とは、もう冬の世界ですね。チングルマやウラジロナナカマドの実に氷が付着してる写真が強烈で、素晴らしいですね。

    1. 弘世旅空様 こんばんは。そうですね、ダケカンバの黄色い葉より高い所はすぐ森林限界になっているようです。
       日本で一番早い紅葉は旭岳と言われてますが、黄葉違いの様です。曇っていて残念でした。

  14. ほんとによく旅行されるんですね!家におられる時があるのかなと思ってしまいます^ ^
    それにしても、もう北海道はこんなに寒いのですね。この二日間くらいの真夏日との体感差は30度以上あったのでは?日本国内にいて、この差ですね。私もそろそろ紅葉を見に山へと思っていますが、このお写真で一足飛びに冬を感じました。

       旅行が生きがいです。今日は30度位ですので、その位の温度差はあります。 でもあまり体調には影響は無いようです。 紅葉のブログ期待してます。

    Brrrr - that's chilly -2 degrees, but worth it to take those wonderful photos and the scenery is very photogenic, especially the steamy, smoky one.
