A NATIONAL GARDEN IN TOKYO

There is a national garden in Tokyo,named Shinjukugyoen.
                                                                                                                                                               We could see cherryblossoms and peach blossoms  in full bloom at the same time in this garden.

This peach tree has red flowers and white flowers at the same time.

    東京の桜はすすんでいますね。関西では今週末が見ごろでしょう。どこへ行こうかな・・・とわくわくしています。Ｙｏｋｏ桜は早咲きなので奈良でも咲いており、前ポストで取り上げました。桃は桜とほぼ同時期に咲きますが、桜の人気に隠れているようで可哀想な気がしていました。源平桃、素敵ですね。

    こんにちは、「陽光」は、色も濃く目立ちますね。先週上野公園を歩いていた時に目立つ桜があったので、名札を見たら「陽光」と書いてあったので、よく覚えています。源平桃はまさに満開ですね。色鮮やかで、綺麗で、写真も迫力満点です。ハナニラのような小さな草花も、桜や桃のような花も、なんでも見れるところが新宿御苑の魅力ですね。

    我が家では源平枝垂れ桃を初孫誕生の記念樹として植えました。またブログにアップするつもりですが、今可愛いい花が咲き始めました。ここでも拝見してうれしくなりました。前のブログの「思いのまま」も植木屋さんで見ました。枝垂れの白梅を買う予定で見に行ったのですが、丁度源平桃があって、こんなのがあるんだなと初めて知りました。初孫も桃の木も大きくなっていくのが楽しみです。
