BEAUTIFUL SCENERY IN HOKKAIDO.

There is a lot of awesome scenery in Hokkaido. We stayed 3 days by the Lake Toyako.

Mt.Shouwa-Shinzan. This mountain is a brand new volcano.

It started a volcano from 1943~1945AD.

昭和新山は1945年に今の形になりました。

We heard the live performance of the harp at the lobby.

My wife requested Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel.

妻がパッヘルベルのカノンをリクエストしました。

My favorite classical music is Violin Sonata No.9 (Kreutzer Sonata) by Beethoven.

We got on this seightseeing boat at night to see the fireworks.

夜は遊覧船で花火の見物です。

The fireworks were lanuched by a running ship.

走行中の船から花火が打ち上げられます。

Our boat were chasing the firework launching ship.

遊覧船は花火を打ち上げる船を追いかけます。

The fireworks were very near for us.

とても近くで花火を見る事が出来ました。

THE SCENERY OF THOSE WERE THE DAYS.

Good old scenery is left in various parts of Japan.  At first we visited Kinosaki hot spring area in Hyogo.

　　　　　　　　懐かしき風景の町を訪ねました。　まずは 城崎温泉です。

Kinosaki hot spring area is located along this Maruyamagawa river.

円山川に沿って温泉街は続きます。

小さな温泉宿と外湯巡りがこの街の特徴です。

There are many public hot spring bath houses in this town.

地蔵湯です。

We would walk in these wooden clogs wearing yukata or summer kimono wear.

下駄を履いて歩きます。

Then we went Ineno-Funaya houses in Kyoto.

次は伊根の舟屋です。

The views of sea from the funaya houses and that of funaya houses from sea are beautiful.

伊根湾に有ります。

Funaya houses consist of a fishing boat garage in the first floor and living rooms in the second floor.

一階が船のガレージ、二階は居間です。

One of  the black tailed gulls would come to near our sightseeing boat wanting to get feed.

ウミネコが遊覧船に近づいて来ました。

Then we went to Miyama town in Kyoto to look for tatched roof houses.

茅葺きの家を訪ねて美山町に行きました。

北山杉の林が美しいです。

A BEAUTIFUL SAND SPIT IN KYOTO.

We went to Kyoto and Hyogo for 3days. The high spot is Amanohashidate.

 京都府と兵庫県に3日間の旅行に行きました。

Amanohashidate is a sand spit  3.2km long, lined with about 7,000 pine trees, and ranging in width from 20m to 170m at its base.

The viewpoint is in Kasamatu park.  We went to Kasamatu park by cable car.

And we came back by chair lift.

行きはロープウエイ、帰りはリフトです。

We walked on Amanohashidate for a while.

We found a Grey heron.

We also found a flying Oriental stork.

We stayes a hotel in Miyadu city.

A large brown cicada. This kind of cicadas are very popular in Japan.

But brown wing cicadas are very rare in the world.
