Nara was a capital of Japan from 7th to 8th century. We went there to see historical places and buildings.
古都、奈良に行きました。

裳階（もこし）に風鐸が下がっています。
This wind bell is named Hutaku or Hotyaku.
風鐸は宝鐸（ほうちゃく）とも呼ばれます。

The balustrade is designed as if swastika variety. These design are very characteristic in this Era.

「重いでしょう」と聞くと、「全然」と答えるそうです。
The windows of the fence are designed like this photo. We would able to see outside if we were a right angel,
but we would stand obliquely,we could not see outside.
連子格子の窓です。直角に見ると外が見えて、斜めから見ると外が見えません。
Then we went to go Asuka temple. There is the oldest a statue of Buddha in Japan.
