Koto city display of fireworks on the Arakawa river in Tokyo.

The display of fireworks was held on 1st in this month.

I went to Sunamachi waterside park about 4 pm to set my tripod.

Many Japanese houseboats came to see the fireworks.

The display started from 7 :30 pm.

It was very hot day,but I enjoyed them very much.

  4. These are spectacular photos. I have tried to capture fireworks before, but without much success. A few of them look like dandelions gone to seed. My favorite is the one in the upper right-hand corner of the collage - unique colors for a firework. Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.

  6. There were fireworks here on Canada Day weekend. They area always a big hit and provided free for everyone by Quality Foods stores. The Port Mann Bridge in Vancouver has a very similar construction. They didn't anticipate ice buildup in winter and it became dangerous to drive in the center lane until they worked out a solution. - Margy

  13. Hi Minoru,

You nsaid you'll come to Helsinki these days. I would recommend you a great art exhibition at ATENEUM ART MUSEUM - Silent Beauty, that tells about the connection of East-Asian and Scandinavian art & artists. I saw the exhibition and wrote about it today on Floral Passions.
