A botanical garden in a snow land.

We went to a botanical garden named Yukiguni Shokubutuen i Niigata orefecture.
雪国植物園。 長岡市。

There are various kind of flowers belonging a family of Ranunculaceae.


This botanical garden is located near with snow mountains.


Yukiwariso in Japanese.
ユキワリソウ(オオミスミソウ)













All of these flowers are called Yukiwariso.


Nirinso in Japanese. ニリンソウ。

Kikuzakiichige in Japanese.
キクザキイチゲ。

There were dog tooth violets too.

  1. Is the flower "Nirinso" a wood anemone (Anemone nemorosa)?
    Yukiwariso could be a "Hepatica"?

      My dictionary says Yukiwariso is anemone hepatica. Nirinso means anemone. so it's difficult to translate them into English.
