Merry Christmas at Sagamihara Park. 相模原公園でメリークリスマス。

We went to Sagamihara Park in the suburbs of Tokyo.

MERRY CHRISTMAS letters were made by ornamental cabbages.

This tree was made by potted poinsettia leaves.

Poinsettia.

A road lined with metasequoia trees.

From the opposite side.

This tree is knowed as a postcard tree.

Because you can write letters on the leaf.

A kind of oak tree.

Many acorns on the ground.

A kind of azalea.

The fruit.

A privet tree.

This post is my last one in this year.
Wishing you have nice holidays.

We go to Chinese Taipei about a week from 28th in December

Thank you very much for your comment. Finland is the nearest country in Europe from Japan. There are direct flight lines from Tokyo to Helsinki. I like Jean Sibelius's music very much.

  6. 穏やかなクリスマスの日を過ごされましたね。
ポインセチアのツリーが可愛い。見事な黄金のメタセコイヤ並木だったと思います。すっかり茶色になって静かな冬の訪れを感じます。I hope 2018 brings you and your family happiness.

  8. This post is very interesting. The greetings by ornament cabbages looked awesome and brilliant. I am learning new trees like Metasequoia and Privet from your photos as we don't have them in our country.

I am surprised by this postcard tree too which one could scribble writings on the leaves! I would write my wish on the leaves for Saito-San like this "Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays to Taipei!"....
