We went to Yoyogi park in Tokyo to see Early blooming cherry trees.
Even though,
The broad leaved trees have not given one leaf.
Their petals are deep pink color comparing another kind of cherry trees.
White eye birds are just coming on the trees.
We have many fine days in winter especially in Tokyo.
Crocuses are receiving sun shines.
Ornamental cabbages too.
Mimosa blossoms are just blooming.
It looks like Spring has come in Tokyo.
Sharing with Sky Watch Friday. Photo Friday.
Thanks for visiting this post.
東京の春は早いですね。思えば長い冬だった気がします。代々木公園の中で陽を浴びた早咲きの桜、メジロ、クロッカス。なんだか元気が出てきました。

Spring has really arrived early in Tokyo. I love that ornamental cabbages and first saw them in Hiroshima where they were beautifully planted outside the Atomic Memorial Museum. I am very curious whether they can be eaten like salad leaves??
ReplyDeleteDear Twilight Man.
DeleteThank you very much for your comment. We would call the ornamental cabbage as leaf-peony. Many people would think they are different from cabbages.Spring is just around the corner in Tokyo.
Beautiful blossoms! When do they usually bloom in Tokyo?
ReplyDeleteDear Kristin.
DeleteThank you very much for your comment. Yes,They grow every year.
Is it normal for cherry blossoms to start blooming this early? Either way, beautiful!

Spring already Minoru? Seeing the blooms on the trees and the little white-eyed bird makes me smile. It snowed here in Breckenridge today!
