We wen to a Metropolitan garden named Rikugien.
It takes only 7 minutes from our house by walking.
Snow-protecting ropes had been fixed. to pines trees.
We had snow next day in 54 years in Tokyo.
Crossing the stone bride,we enjoyed autumn leaves in many places.
A Japanese maple tree.
A wax tree.
Many trees.
We looked a little egret.
The view from the pass.
Stone lantern.
A resting place.
Then we went to Tokyo university.
A row of ginkgo trees.
Collecting this kind of leaves.
I made a bouquet of ginkgo leaves.

Gorgeous autumn views! And so incredible, indeed, that, it was the first November snow in 54 years, in Tokyo. I've read in the news about and seen pictures on the net. The red leaves of maple trees are amazing, and, also, those of ginkgo biloba. Many thanks for sharing the autumn cozy walk with us and have a very lovely weekend!

ReplyDeleteI remember this gardens at Rikugien so well. We were there too early before all the trees turned red and yellow in Autumn. After the visit, we walked passed all the housing areas nearby and I love the clean and neat streets. So you live there! How nice!!
