TOKYO WALKING , KUNITACHI IN THE SUBURBS.

We visited Yabo Tenmangu in the suburbs of Tokyo.

JR南武線の谷保駅からスタートです。

The entrance of the shrine. 谷保天満宮です。


The main building.


There ia a pond in this precincts.


Carp.


Then we visited Shiroyama koen park.

城山公園に行きました。


Red heart lilies are blooming in a colony.

キツネノカミソリの群生です。

Red heart lilies.


There are many flowers in this area.


Kusaki. クサキです。


Teika-Kazura. テイカカズラです。


White cotton rosemallow. 芙蓉です。


Cotton rosemallow. 酔芙蓉です。 花びらの色が1日のうちで変化します。

This flower would change the color in one day. You can see the change by you tube below.





There are some farmer's fields in this district,we can see vegetable flowers too.


Okra. オクラです。


Oriental garlic. ニラです。

Wild big mushrooms. My lens cap is on a mushroom.

仁王ヒメジです。

Large brown cicada.


Jewel beetle. 玉虫です。

  11. So beautiful impressions of nature, Minoru!!! How much I love the blossom which can change her colour in one day!!! I've never seen or known that before! I also like the little jewel beetle. How wonderful the colours shimmer in the sunlight :)

  15. A beautiful shrine! And what a great collection of photos! I was so happy to see the okra flower...we grow that a lot on the south of the US but many northerners have never seen the beautiful flower.

  19. My jaws dropped in disbelief to see such mushrooms being clustered together.
    They also look very big and delicious to eat. It makes me wonder how they could
    grow together in such manner.

    I love the Cotton Rosemallow and Okra because they look so neat and simple
    yet very pretty and elegant. I wonder if they give out any sweet scents?
