A WISTERIA PARK.

                We went to see wisteria blossoms at Ashikaga flower park in Tochigi.

              あしかがフラワーパークに行きました。







White color. 白藤です。



Yellow color. 黄花藤です。










Blooming in long clusters.

  6. Amazing park! Have only ever seen a purple wisteria ....and never quite as big. Love all three colors and the other flowers as well. The tower is beautiful!

  15. 足利フラワーパークは海外からの観光客にも有名なようですが、さすが、納得です。奈良公園では野生の藤はダイナミックですが、藤棚のはそこまでいきません。蔓が右巻きか左巻きかは上からみるか下からみるかによりかわりますよね。

  17. Oh my! They are stunning! Like colorful waterfalls! Many people in US won't plant them because they are so invasive in a garden setting. But I have always thought them particularly beautiful!

    Incidently, the Palo Verde tree is a lot like the wisteria, in that it sends roots underground in all directions, with shoots popping up everywhere! :-)

  27. Those are such incredible wisteria blooms, I haven't seen so many colors, and the abundance of blooms is amazing. I also like the lovely color combinations in the flower tower and flower pyramid.

  28. かなりやばいです、これ! お見事な景色ですねえ。うちの庭にGolden chain tree と言う木がなっています、写真にある黄色の藤とそっくりですが、すぐ色があせてしまう、あわれさがあります。

      こんにちは。 ヤバイ、ヤバイ。 Golden chain tree をネットで調べましたが、よく似ていますね。 最近は、海外からもこの藤を見にくる人が多くなっています。
