A SIGHTSEEING TOUR IN KYUSYU.

               Kyusyu is one of the 4 big islands which is located in south western area in Japan.


Syotoen garden at  Yanagawa city in Fukuoka.
This garden is consist of pinetrees and rocks  only.

松濤園です。元柳川藩主、立花氏の庭園です。


We met a magpie by the river.

カササギを見つけました。

We went to famous hot spring in Yufuin which is located in Oita.


Mt.Yufudake.

由布岳です。


Lake Kinrinko. This is a hot spring lake.

金鱗湖です。温泉が流れ込んでいます。

We could see two kind of birds at Yufuin.


A gren heron on the top of shrine gate.
I think he is a faithful bird.

信心深いアオサギを見つけました。

A flying grey heron.
We call this kind of bird as a blue heron.

英語でグレイへロンと言いますが、アオサギですね。


A great egret.

ダイサギです。芦の指が黒いです。

He is just coming back.

    Nice pictures - I spent two weeks in Japan many year ago, but I was in towns almost all of the time - did not see many birds, so its nice to see these.

    こんにちは、九州が続いてますね。金鱗湖の湯煙が暖かそうです。それにしてもカササギ、アオサギ、ダイサギとチャンスに恵まれましたね。アオサギ、ダイサギは飛んでる姿をものにされてるから素晴らしいと思います。これレンズ交換してると飛んでいってしまうから、普段から望遠を付けてないと撮れないのでは？？

      　こんばんは。金鱗湖は小さな湖ですが、温泉と鉱泉が流れ込んでいるそうです。湖畔にシャガール美術館があります。
      　鳥たちは、偶然にも恵まれて撮れました。ダイサギはなかなか飛びださないのでだいぶ待ちました。

      Thank you very much for your comment. New Year holidays would start from 29th in December to 3rd in January. 28th in december is saturday,4th in January is saturday. Some people can get 9 consective holidays. Wishing you a happy new year.
