江戸川区の善養寺には日本一と言われる松の木があります。 そして、その寺では菊祭りが開催されています。
This pinetree was named Yougou.
影向きの松と言われています。
This Japanese black pine extends 28 meters east and west,
31 meters north and south.
この黒松は東西28m、南北31mに広がっています。
The age of this tree is more than 800 years.
The height is about 8 meters.
樹齢800年、樹高8mと言われてます。

This temple is located by the river named Edogawa.
この寺は江戸川の近くに有ります。
We can see this temple from the bank of Edogawa river.

素晴らしい松ですね。京都の善峰寺の「遊龍の松」を思いだしました。菊を使ったアートからは香りが漂ってくるようです。子供たちが子供のころまでは、秋といえば大菊人形展でしたが、最近は菊人形はあまり見られませんね。
ReplyDeletestardust 様 こんばんは。遊龍の松も素晴らしいですね。この松は以前、香川県の岡野の松と優劣を争っていました。その時、立行司の木村庄之助の裁きで双方引き分けという事になり東の横綱の松となっていました。
Deleteその後岡野の松は枯れてしまいましたが、東日本一の松となっています。
この寺の住職の希望で菊人形等はかzらず独自の菊をかざっているそうです。
「影向の松」は東京都の指定天然記念物だけに、横への広がり具合が立派ですね。

貼り付ける菊人形に比べると、はるかに独創的で、芸術的ですね。善養寺の菊祭りは来年のためにメモしておきます。

Delete私が小さい時、近所の家、家の門前にみごとな菊の鉢がいくつも飾られていました。そんな時代は、少しずつ消えていってるようです。そちらの菊は、あまりみごとなので、みとれてしまいます。さぞいい香りなんでしょうね。
