MT.CHOKAISAN AND TOBISHIMA ISLAND.

Mt. Chokai is at the prefectural border of Akita and Yamagata.

Mt.Chokaisan.

We looked this mountain from the hotel where we stayed.

Zooming up.

Next day. We went to see Mototaki Falls.

The water would come from the rain which rained in the Mt.Chokaisan
after dozens of years.

Then we went to Shishigahana marsh.

The marsh is located in the beech forest.

Many beech trees were transformed by cutting in winter.
This tree looks like a bay sucking the mother's breast milk.

Then we went to the viewpoint of this mountain.

We could not see the mountaintop.

Kisakata. About 200 years ago,This plain was in the sea.

The third day, we went to Tobishima island.

We could see the mountain from the liner.

Black-tailed gulls gathered for feeding.

Nice catching.

We cloud see many wild flowers in this trip.

Miyakogusa.

Tobishima-Kanzo.

Nanakamado.

Thistle.

Lace cap hydrangea.

Good bye Tobishima island.

  1. I love the photos especially the waterfalls which looked so unique like a fantasy show of crystal droplets.
The tree looked funny too with the boy being breastfed. You have good imaginations!
This Tobishima island.is unusually flat and nice too.
