A BEAUTIFUL SAND SPIT IN KYOTO.

We went to Kyoto and Hyogo for 3days. The high spot is Amanohashidate.

Amanohashidate is a sand spit  3.2km long, lined with about 7,000 pine trees, and ranging in width from 20m to 170m at its base.

    Have a nice week!

  29. What a gorgeous place! I'd never want to leave! It must have provided a lovely break from the crowds and noise Tokyo. That sand spit is amazing, and what a great place to go for a walk! The heron and stork are wonderful, and how cool that you were able to capture the stork in flight (that branch almost blocked your view of him, but instead adds such wonderful depth and texture to your photo!)

And you ALWAYS find such beautiful flowers! I love Crape Myrtles, though it's too cold here where we live to grow them. I've never heard of a Bush Clover tree, but it sure looks pretty! Were the cicadas plentiful enough to listen to? The noise they make is such a classic sound of summer, especially in the South. And what a lovely, gentle, twilit photo of your beautiful surroundings - it looks so very peaceful!

Thank you very much for your comment. The sand spit is very famous for Japanese. It was the second time for me to go to the sand spit.
I was very lucky that I could take the stork photo. It was only one shutter chance for me to take the photo. The cicada sound was very noisy, but good sound for summer.
I feel very happy you like flowers. Thanks again.
