Sightseeing in Osaka. 水の都、大阪。

Osaka is the second largest prefecture in Japan.

The symbol of Osaka is Osaka castle.

WE got on a water-bus near the castle.

From the top of the castle,we could see the highest building known as  Harukasu.

Then we went to Osaka harbor.

We got on a sightseeing ship named Santa Maria.

The same style ship of the Columbus's.

Getting off the ship,we got on a Ferris wheel.

We stayed at a hotel in the highest building.

Wakayama castle and Wakanoura. 和歌山城と和歌の浦。

We went to Wakayama castle and very famous sightseeing places at Wakanoura.

White beach in Sirahama. 南紀白浜と潮岬。

We went to a three day trip to Wakayama and Osaka.

Arriving at Nanki-Sirahama airport, we got on a reserved rental car .

This beach  consist of powdered quartz sands.

We went to a few famous places.

Sionomisaki is the southernmost tip of our main island.

橋杭岩。

This day was my wife's birthday. 

We stayed a little bit luxurious  hotel.

We got on a airplane from Tokyo Haneda international airport.

On the way to the airport,we could see Mt.Fuji.

A wild flower garden and Jindaiji Temple. 調布市立野草園と深大寺。

There are a famous temple and a wild flower garden in the suburbs of Tokyo.

We visited the garden at first.

Aeginetia indica. ナンバンギセル。

                         Aeginetia indica is parasitic on Japanese pampas grass .

クロコマノチョウの幼虫。

クロアゲハ。

This insect is trenching  the leaf. 　クロウリハムシ。

Eating the leaf ,the plant would make a poison to protect the leaf.

So the insect avoid the poison by cutting off the leaf at first.
