Nebuta festival in Aomori. 青森のねぶた祭り。

We went to Aomori to see Nebuta festival.


The festival started from second in August.


The exhibition of Nebuta dolls.


Preparation for the festival.


The festival just started.


Becoming dark.


The dance has started too.


Many people gathered.


They would do jumping dances.

Nebuta dolls.

























This festival finished around 9 P.M.

  5. I must confess that the Japanese are very artistic and could draw very attractive and colourful manga, anime, designs and anything! Each visit to Japan I would spend a lot of time admiring at the statues displayed at the airport, train stations and public places before taking lots of photos. I like your photos very much. I wish that I would someday be able to watch a live festival parade in Japan. I am aiming at the big parade at Hakatta! Banzai!

    2. I would love too since I cried happy tears when I watched the festival over the TV documentary at the Hakata Museum. My bucket list is so long and all needs money & time. Ha ha ha...
