Temples in Wakayama prefecture. 紀三井寺と高野山金剛峰寺。

Arriving at Kansai airport,my wife and I got on a reserved rental car bound for Kimiidera temple.

  3. That is nice to know that you also visited Koyasan. As you probably could guess that we visited this place in a hurry to pay respects to Monk Kukai. I plan to return to this mountain again in future to visit other temples and probably sleep 2 nights at the temples. I love the whole area which is well preserved and unspoilt with the charms of Japanese Buddhism in the air.

    This is probably the best season to visit Koyasan with all the pretty Sakura flowers. Thank you very much for sharing as it lifted up my feelings tonight. I will have a good sleep!

      Thank you very much for your comment. It's nice you will have a nice sleep today. It's the best season to go to west area of Japan. But there were no cherry blossoms at Koyasan. Because the mountain is located in high area. There were no cherry blossoms at Koyasan. Thank you again you know Monk Kukai.
