  3. Hello Minoru! very interesting, historical view of the tour at the old temple and a very emotional, so sensitive part expressed through that path with guardian deities for the spirits of dead babies. So sensitive photos.
Have a very nice sunday to you and family and, also, a good new week ahead in december.

Thank you very much for your comment. I think these deities are a little bit queer for people in foreign countries.

  4. So very interesting! I love the stone carvings at the Shogunate tombs. And the memorial to the babies was also very somber.

  5. Thank you for sharing these photos which showed the Guardian deities for the spirits of aborted or miscarried babies. Before that I was not sure what they were at the cemetery at Mount Koyasan.

  7. Hello!:) The tower makes quite a contrast with the temple, but it is the historical tombs, and the lines of sculptured guardian deities for the spirits of dead babies that I found intensely emotional.

  9. The garden deities for aborted and miscarried babies touched me deeply. Here in the U.S., there would be an outcry from the pro-abortion people.
