MERLIONS IN SINGAPORE. マーライオン。

We went to Singapore for 5 days. There are 5 Merlions in Singapore,we looked three of them.

  10. シンガポールなんて、私のレーダーには入ってないんですけど、面白そう! そう言えば、知り合いがそこで暮した事がある話をしてましたっけ、、、。英語が通じるから、楽だったとか。 東京からは近いですか? 楽しいポストありがとうございました。本場のChinese New Year 楽しかったですか?

      こんばんは。羽田から7時間ほどでした。一度行けばもう満足になると思いますが、治安が良い先進国で冬の寒さを凌げるので選びました。
       旧正月の前でしたので空いていました。 マレーシアへオプショナルツアーで行きましたが、行きも帰りも国境はガラガラでした。

  12. さすが、ライオンの町シンガポールですね。現在のシンガポールの由来は14世紀のサンスクリット語で「ライオンの町」を意味するシンガプーラという名称だと知りました。寒い時期の旅行、いい選択ですね。今日は生暖かい風が吹き春のようです。

      Singapura と表記された看板も残っていました。虎でなくライオンが現れたというお話も面白いです。

  14. This is interesting to note that there are 5 Merlions in Singapore. I thought they only have 2-3. You stayed for 5 days and that gave you ample time to visit all their major attractions to enjoy the trip. I hope you enjoyed your stay there. I love to stay there and won't mind migrating to Singapore too.

      Thank you very much for your comment. I knew when I went to there that there were 5 Merlions. We enjoyed the dinner at a Italian restaurant at Merlion park,watching the Laser beam show from Marina Bay Sands.
