CHRISTMAS SEASON IN TOKYO.

We went to a restaurant in Ritz-Carlton Tokyo for my son and his wife to celebrate their birthdays. We celebrated them at a time.

The view from the restaurant.

The illumination of the Tower until 8 p.m. Then the illumination would change to the first photo's color.

This restaurant is located at the 45th floor of the hotel.

A tiny dessert for each of them.

The Ritz-Carlton is located in a commercial complex at Tokyo Mid Town.

A flower arrangement of Calla lilies at the lobby.

A chocolate Christmas tree made by the Hotel's Cafe.

A decoration in Tokyo Mid Town.

A Cafe in the commercial complex.

A illumination show outside of the complex.

A illuminated tree-lined road.

There are some decorations in our house too.

A preserved flower arrangement by my wife.

A Christmas wreath by my wife.

Our Christmas is independent from Christianity.

We go to a 3 day trip from tomorrow.

Thanks for visiting this post.

  2. Minoru, These are fabulous night views. That chocolate tree is a dream come true! You have more decorations there in Japan than I do in my home in CO!

  5. Konnichi-wa Minoru-san!

Christmas decoration in Tokyo looks definitely different from what we are used to see here in Germany. Especially in the traditional villages and towns in the south and east of Germany, the decoration is more of an old fashioned, let's say traditional style. But the bigger the towns and cities here in Germany, the more it looks like youre decoration in Tokyo! ;-)

Great to see Tokyo Tower from the top! I can remember when visiting Tokyo Tower: it has a hight of approx. 333 metres and two visitor platforms in 150 and 250 metres height. But your exclusive restaurant view on nighttime Tokyo from the 45th floor is really breathtaking! That building is in Asakusa, where you find Tokyo Sky Tree as well?
All the best from Germany, Uwe.

Thank you very much for your comment. I feel happy you remembered to come to Tokyo Tower. Tokyo Sky Tree also would change the illumination frequently.
