HIGHLIGHTS IN SYDNEY.

First day in Sydney, we had a half day sightseeing in this city.  And I  just posted before.

Second day, on 3rd in September. We went to Taronga zoo to watch both the bird show and the seal show.

The bird show.

This parrot picked up  the garbage and then abandoned to a trash box.

Then the seal show.

During the show, my wife got wet by the waves the seals made.

Then we went to Sydney Tower Eye.

Sydney Tower Eye.

We looked St.Mary cathedral from the tower.

Then we took a dinner at Cockle Bay Wharf.

Hot & Cold seafood platter for two.

Third day, on 4th in September. We went to Blue mountains by a chartered car.

Jamison Valley.

Three sisters rocks.

Fourth day, on 5th in September, we went Wild Life(Zoo) at first.

Waiting for a long time, we could see the Koala who opened the eyes.

Tasmanian devil.

Then we watched Andre Rieu cinema concert at the National Theater.

The cinema started from one pm and ended 4pm.

I found small  part of the concert from the You Tube.

Then we got on a Sunset Cruising ship.

Captain Cook Cruiser.

Harbor Bridge.

 We watched fire work displays.

We came home last night.

Thanks for your visiting.

  4. What a marvelous trip you had in Sydney! It has been in my bucket list to visit this interesting place someday and see the cute and lazy Koala Bears. I think most spectators who watched the live performances at their Sea World would be intentionally drenched as part of their memorable fun. You guys must have sat at the front VIP rows.

Your trip was really well planned as I could see how you could squeeze so many interesting places for each day. I remember my parents also snapped photos of the 2 sisters rock and that was long ago. Your night certainly ended well with the fireworks display and I love that to call it a day.

I just go back from Manila after a week there and was down with food poisoning for 2 days. Today i have recovered and back to blogging.

  8. What a great tour of Sydney! The animal shows remind me of the San Diego Zoo and Sea World, we saw those a lot when we lived there, except they didn't have Tasmanian devils as far as I can remember. The seafood platter for 2 looks really yummy, and what a beautiful sunset!

Thank you very much for your comment. I want to go San Diego in a future. I saw many wood made Tasmanian devil boards when I was in Tasmania. But I could not see the devil. But it's very easy to see the devil here.

    Amei as paisagens!!!

Uma boa semana, cheia de surpresas agradáveis!
    Beijinhos.

  21. Obviously you enjoyed Australia, Minoru!

But I was a little shocked to see André Rieu in your post, a dutch musician, that is very popular in Germany as well... ;-)

Thank you very much for your comment. What kind of shock did you have? We enjoyed his live concert in Tokyo more than 10 years ago.
I would think Germany people do not like his performance and female members costumes.
I would think normal concert should be hold in a indoor concert hall. But I think if he were a German musician, he could not do this kind of music.
BTW, I like his " Second Waltz" music by Shostakovich.

    2. Yes, indeed, the joky "shock" is called "André Rieu"... ;-)

No harm meant, Minoru-san! Honestly I was more surprised than shocked to see him in your post, because I didn't expect to see this Dutch musician (no, I don't really like him and his tpye of music) in a post of a Japanese travelling to Australia!

      All the best from Germany,
      Uwe.
