  1. The garden is so big and nice to relax. The exotic birds really added life and beauty to the tranquil landscapes. I remember taking a long nap at the gardens outside the Kyoto's Imperial Palace, while waiting for them to open the doors for visiting hours. The smell of fresh pines lulled me to sleep like a baby!

  3. Hi, Minoru! What a fun post! I love all the beautiful birds, of course, and am intrigued by the rare apricot trees - but I am completely smitten by and just cannot take my eyes off that amazing 300-year old pine (and the wonderful fence around it) or the amazing "half and half" flower!! I have never seen anything like either of them before - incredible!
