THE NORTHERNMOST ISLAND OF JAPAN.

   Rebun island is the northernmost island, we can see many alpine plants in hiking trails.

                               We looked many wildflowers in this island.


                                            礼文島に行きました。

Sukai cape. 澄海岬です。


Near by cat shaped rock. 猫岩です。


We started about 3 hour hiking from Momoiwa.

桃岩付近から約3時間のハイキングです。



Hakusanchidori. ハクサンチドリです。


Chishima-Huro. チシマフウロです。


Nemuro-Shiogama. ネムロシオガマです。


Rebun-Kinbaiso. レブンキンバイソウです。


Rebun-Kozakura. レブンコザクラです。


Iwa-Benkei. イワベンケイです。


Sendaihagi. センダイハギです。


Ezono-Hakusanichige. エゾノハクサンイチゲです。


Kugenuma-Ran. クゲヌマランです。


Brown lily. クロユリです。


Sakuraso-Modoki. サクラソウモドキです。


Hime-Izui. ヒメイズイです。


Maizuru-So. マイズロソウです。


Miyama-Odamaki. ミヤマオダマキです。

  3. I really love this post of yours because it covers a unique subject unknown to many.
    The cape and cliffs are breathtaking with the sea below. I could sit there for hours gazing into the ocean.
    All the flowers are pretty and new to me too. I love fauna and flora photos of nature's creations.
    The last photo is the best and looks like an Avant Garde art to me! If I have this last photo of yours, I would frame it big in my living room!

  14. 知床の岬に、ハマナスの、、、なんでしたっけ? 北海道は良いですけど、ちょっと今回の旅には遠すぎるかなと考えてます。九州に行く用事がありますし、でもいつか必ず行ってみたいです。素敵な写真に夢が広がります。 ハイキング出来るように、体を鍛えておかねばとか、思うところは多いです。 次はどこでしょう?楽しみです。

      こんばんは。「知床旅情の歌」ですが、知床とは地の果てという意味で、礼文島にも知床という地名があります。
       花を見ながらのハイキングで3時間かかりましたが、歩くだけなら、その半分の時間でした。
       次は鳥海山と日本海の島、飛島です。
