A SIGHTSEEING TOUR IN FUKUI AND ISHIKAWA.

We had a small trip in Fukui and Ishikawa. These prefectures face the Sea of Japan.


Tojinbo in Fukui.

東尋坊です。

Tyuzakumon gate at Eiheiji Temple.

永平寺、中雀門です。

Tyokushimon gate.

勅使門です。


A maple tree.

楓の木です。

Kenrokuen garden at Kanazawa in Ishikawa.

These ropes are used to protect branches from heavy snow.


兼六園の雪吊りです。

Kotoji stone lantern.

徽軫灯籠(ことじとうろう)です。

A old fashion restraunt street at kazuemachi.

主計町茶屋街です。

  6. Beautiful scenic trip -- thank you for sharing your travels. The reflections and water shots are lovely and I am fascinated by those golden ropes used to keep heavy snow off the trees....they are quite beautiful, almost like a sculpture.

  11. I must say that all your photos are very scenic and beautiful. I love the rocks at sea and the fabulous Tyokushimon gate! The charms of the old fashioned street reminds me of the Gion at Kyoto. Simply beautiful.

  12. こんにちは。2枚目の永平寺、中雀門の写真は心に響きます。紅葉もちょうどいいアクセントになっていて、素晴らしいですね。また行ってみたくなりました。
    この時期の福井県、石川県は、紅葉もあり、冬の寒さを迎える風情もあっていいですね。
    茶屋町は、店も閉まり、歩いてる人も少なく見えますが、時間が遅かったのですか、もしくは時期的な影響でしょうか。夜景がとても綺麗に撮れてますね。

       こんんばんは。茶屋街は東と西とこの主計町と歩きましたが、人が少ない、この街だけ写真に撮りました。
       この後、卯辰山の麓の店で夕食を摂りました。
       福井では地元の友達の案内で、越前かにを食べました。とても美味しかったです。
